About me :)

hi! i’m carmen :)

i’m a self/community taught queer tattooer, living and working on the unceded lands of the nooksack and lummi nations.

i love tattoos, both making and wearing them! being visibly queer and heavily and tattooed makes me feel powerful, and it is my privilege to share that power with my clients.

my tattoo practice, beyond artistic expression, is as a facilitator of transformative experiences that reinforce our autonomy and community; i believe every new tattoo has the potential to bring us closer to ourselves and each other.

collaboration is key! I draw and dream, but it is because of my clients that any of this is possible. gratitude for each and every person that trusts me with their bodies, their stories, and their visions! especially those clients and friends who prompt me to create more, thank you for your trust!
